Two roles we're actively hiring for right now. Both are based at our Orlando studio with significant ownership from day one.
Senior Full Stack Engineer
AI Video Analytics and GPU Systems
Own meaningful slices of the platform end to end: from React and Next.js user flows, to backend services and serverless functions, to GPU-enabled video processing and inference, to data modeling and observability. This is a builder role with real ownership across streaming, computer vision, and time-series analytics.
What You'll Do
- Build and improve core product flows: projects, uploads, face labeling, search, timelines, permissions, and admin.
- Design and implement backend APIs and serverless functions that handle video ingest, job orchestration, and results delivery.
- Build and operate the video pipeline: stream ingest, decode, frame extraction, segmenting, timestamps, and synchronization.
- Own GPU inference workloads end to end: containerized workers, batching, throughput tuning, memory management, model lifecycle, and failure handling.
- Build event-driven systems using queues and messaging, with retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, backpressure, and replay strategies.
- Model data in PostgreSQL for identity, embeddings, emotion events, and time-based queries; optimize for scale and cost.
- Improve observability: logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerts that help during incidents.
- Partner with product and customers to validate assumptions, understand what matters, and iterate fast.
Required Experience
- Strong TypeScript across frontend and backend, and comfort in a modern React and Next.js stack.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes, query performance, migrations.
- Video streaming and media systems experience with several of the following: RTSP, WebRTC, FFmpeg, MediaMTX, GStreamer, or equivalent.
- GPU workloads in production with several of the following: CUDA environments, containerized GPU workers, model serving, batching, memory management, throughput tuning, and performance profiling.
- Experience building event-driven systems: queues, background jobs, retries, idempotency, failure modes.
- Comfort shipping containerized services with Docker and modern deployment workflows.
- Practical testing habits: unit, integration, and a bias toward maintainable code.
- Strong product instincts. You think in user outcomes and can instrument, measure, and iterate.
Nice to Have
- Deep computer vision familiarity: embeddings, tracking, clustering, identity reconciliation, evaluation approaches.
- Azure experience: Functions, Service Bus, Container Apps, AKS, Key Vault, or similar.
- Observability stack: OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Sentry.
- Security-minded development: encryption at rest, secrets handling, audit logs, privacy by design.
- On-prem deployment experience: constrained networks, edge hardware variability, ops runbooks.
Full Stack Middleware Developer
Node.js and React
Deliver middleware and the web tooling around it. Build and maintain APIs, integrations, event-driven services, admin dashboards, and operator interfaces that connect frontends to hardware systems, third-party services, and internal platforms. This is a builder role, not a ticket-only role.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement middleware and API layers in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build React or Next.js interfaces that support operations and client workflows.
- Build integrations with third-party platforms: identity providers, payments, messaging, and internal systems.
- Implement event-driven flows using queues, pub/sub, and background workers.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access for internal and client-facing tools.
- Add observability that makes systems easy to operate, debug, and improve.
- Own features end to end: from requirements through shipping, monitoring, and iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, and field teams to translate real constraints into working software.
Required Experience
- Strong Node.js experience, ideally TypeScript, with Express, Fastify, NestJS, or similar.
- Strong React experience, ideally Next.js, with a focus on production delivery.
- Experience building APIs, middleware, and integration-heavy systems.
- Solid understanding of authentication and authorization patterns: JWT, OAuth, RBAC.
- Comfort with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with queues and event-driven systems such as Service Bus, SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Practical testing habits: unit tests, integration tests, sensible CI workflows.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making smart tradeoffs.
Nice to Have
- WebSockets, real-time systems, or streaming interfaces.
- Media pipelines or video systems (FFmpeg, WebRTC, RTSP, GStreamer). Optional, since most of this role is Node.js and React.
- Docker and container deployment workflows.
- Cloud experience. Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP is fine.
- Basic DevOps skills: logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerting.
- Experience building tools for hardware-adjacent systems or venue deployments.
